Conceptual Thinking for Client Space

Steve Jobs:

Jobs is no doubt one of the most successful person nowadays. Articles describes him as a very competent CEO with a perfectionist mind. Jobs either praises a product to be perfect, or otherwise he would condeem products for being a complete failure. We can conclude that his dictionary only contains the two words "perfect" and "bad". This makes it troublesome to create a piece of architecture that could suit his taste.

This first thing to consider is try to imagine being Jobs himself, and read his mind literally. Although the advertisment below is sarcastic about Apple products, it kinda provides a good start to the conceptual thinking of the client space:

My first thought from this is to set the aim of the building as something simple but iconic.

After some thought, I have decided that the form of the building should follow some of Jobs' own products due to the fact that he himself must have approved on them before retailing.

Zhang Yi:

Zhang Yin is quite different from other rich people in the world in a way that she acutally sells recycled waste paper to China, rather than working in professions that require design or creative skills.

Therefore, I myself portrait her as a more money-oriented person rather than a creative person, because as indicated by articles, paper recycling isnt anything new or groundbreaking during that time.

My first approach to her building design is to create a symbolism of wealth. As i consider the fact that she is chinese, i decided to create a building which resembles the design of Chinese palaces, where only the wealthy and the noble can live in.
